Description :
New hand-turned lime wood salad bowl/centrepiece; available in a single size 34xh12 cm. Suitable for containing any type of food, whether hot or cold; oily or acidic.
The woods are treated only with olive oil and seed oil, and can be re-treated with it whenever needed.
It is not possible to wash in the dishwasher, as the salts are incompatible with the natural water-based varnishes we use. All pieces are hand-turned. Although wood is a 'poor' material originally - but of ancient tradition - it stands out in objects for the careful workmanship and the imagination of shapes and colours. We use only solid wood, preferably lime and alder, which grows throughout northern Italy.
