Description :
Newly crafted limewood salad bowl/centrepiece turned from solid wood; available in one size, 34cm x 12cm high. Suitable for holding any type of food, whether hot or cold; oily or acidic.
The wood is treated solely with olive and seed oils, and can be re-treated as needed.
It is not possible to wash in a dishwasher, as the salts are incompatible with the natural water-based varnishes we use. All pieces are hand-turned. Although wood is a 'poor' material originally - but with a long tradition - it stands out in our products due to the careful craftsmanship and the creativity of the shapes and colours. We use only solid wood, preferably linden and alder, grown throughout northern Italy.
