Description :
New hand-turned linden wood salad bowl/centrepiece; available in a single size of 34cm x 12cm high. Suitable to hold any kind of food, whether hot or cold; oily or acidic.
The wood is treated solely with olive and seed oils and can be re-treated with these oils whenever needed.
This item cannot be washed in the dishwasher, as the salts are incompatible with the natural water-based varnishes we use. All pieces are hand-turned. Although wood is a 'simple' material originally - but with a long tradition - it stands out in our products due to the careful workmanship and the creativity of shapes and colours. We use only solid wood, preferably linden and alder, which grows throughout northern Italy.
